MotoGP - Day 1

Austin, TX - April 21, 2017

As a family of motorcycle enthusiasts (some more than others), it was a goal of ours to get down to Circuit of The Americas and see a MotoGP race in person.

Arriving in Austin, TX on Thursday afternoon, we unpacked and regrouped before heading out again for dinner.

The following day was the official start of the race weekend, and since only one of us had a 3-day pass, the rest of us had to find some other things to do while we waited for race day on Sunday.

With time to kill, we headed to San Antonio to check out the city, but most importantly, to see the Alamo (what a bunch of tourists, right?).

After admiring the Alamo and spending a too much time watching one of us get fitted for authentic cowboy hats, we headed back into Austin to participate in a pit walk at the track.
