After our trip to Colorado was essentially cancelled in the middle of March 2020, we decided to put the time we had already taken off of work to good use. Ava had the great idea of road-tripping from Austin to White Sands National Park in New Mexico - an 8+ hour road trip that would take us across West Texas. With COVID-19 closing many amenities, we were still able to find a great place to stay in Las Cruces, and made sure to follow all CDC guidelines along the way.
